So, the Fall semester if coming to and end, and I'm anticipating straight A's, which will
allow me to keep my 4.0 GPA. I was originally planning to take only about 4 classes next semester,
but, two MGMT courses opened up as a directed study, so they'll work with my schedule a bit better.
Over the break, I intend on finishing a couple of side projects I was working on. One is a customized
CMS for a comedian's website I had started before this semester started, and is nearly complete. It's not
as customizable as I would like, but certainly offers a lot of potential in the way it was designed. I
intend to expand upon it for more universal uses.
The other project I want to look at is actually two parts. One is implementing the Zend framework on
this site, (possibly leading to a ZF certification), and the other is some more experimentation of
iPhone-optimized web sites. I found a framework, jQTouch, that offers a lot of javascript functionality
to make a website look and feel more like an iPhone app in terms of display, navigation, animation, and
AJAX calls. Thinking I can somehoe leverage that at work at some point.
Speaking of work...super busy is an under-statement, but it's certainly a good problem to have.
There is so much going on it's hard to juggle it all, but every single day, I leave there knowing something
I didn't know when I woke up. The drive in to work in the morning has never been so exciting
for any other job I've ever worked in.
Hopefully, I'll see something blog-like in the Zend Framework to experiment with, and this post
will likely move onto a new blag page/section. Nothing is set in stone yet, but we'll see...
